It seems like 50's putting off the music game for now as mixtapes or an album seem pretty distant in the future with no mention, but his screen career is rolling, as he keeps popping up on RSS feeds with new news of movie roles, auditions, and most recently, his documentary, The Origin of Me, which you can watch in full below.

In this VH1 Rock Doc (I don't think anyone really associates 50 with "Rock," but whatever), 50, who was born in South Jamaica, Queens, ventures down to Edgefield, South Carolina to seek out his roots in the United States dating back to the 19th Century slavery days in the antebellum South.
I haven't gotten a chance to watch this yet, but from what I understand, it's a pretty in-depth look at his family tree, various ties to major African-American equality movements throughout history, and a well documented travel through some of America's more odious eras. I haven't come across a negative review yet, so check it out in the player below, throw up your thoughts, and float around to see if you can find any info on if 50's working on any music for the future, because I sure as hell can't find anything.
