Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff. Alpo and Rich Porter. Pappy Mason. The list goes on. Since the early 1980s, rappers have established an underlying parallel with America's most notorious gangsters.

Some of the biggest rap artists' lyrics are littered with vivid street storytelling guaranteed to be influenced by real life tales from the litany of original gangsters.

One name that rings bells in the New City region is none other than Lorenzo "Fat Cat" Nichols. Nichols made a name for himself in the Southside section of Jamaica, Queens.

Andre shot to fame in his native Australia with the song, a collaboration with Bubbler Ranx, and claimed a number two hit in the U.K. the following year (96).

He took an extended hiatus from his music career in 1997 after being dropped by his record label, but returned to the charts in 2004 with a re-release of Mysterious Girl, which debuted at number one in Britain. Rapper 50 Cent admits he's a big fan of the song, and he would like to re-record the track with Andre to give the tune another chart outing.

He says, "It's like Ymca, one of those songs everybody knows. Girls like it and it gets them up dancing. It makes people feel happy, even if it is never going to win a Grammy. "Pete seems like a nice guy and maybe, with the right remix, we can get him a number one in the U.S. as well as Europe this time".

And the hip-hop star wants to be a part of the record himself - replacing Bubbler Ranx's rap section with his own contribution. He adds, "I would give my lyrics to it rather than use that guy he usedlast time".

According to The Associated Press, Lastonia Leviston filed the lawsuit on Wednesday in Manhattan, claiming unauthorized use of her name or image and emotional distress caused by the public release of a video.

She made with an unidentified man in 2008. In the tape, Leviston is seen showing off a tattoo on her chest with the initials “RR,” seemingly in reference to Ross.

And 50 is heard providing exaggerated voice-over narration to the action in his wigged “Pimpin’ Curly” persona. In the lawsuit, Leviston claims the rapper posted the video on ThisIs50.com last year, blurring out the face of the man in the tape but not hers, and that 50 edited himself into the video.

Those who’ve been following the back-and-forth know that 50 (aka Curtis Jackson) isn’t above a low-blow.

He’s interviewed Tia Kemp, one of Rick’s baby mamas, who dished the dirt about Rick supposedly faking his whole lifestyle and his past as a prison guard. She also got a book deal from 50 for her part in the beef.

The rapper-mogul wasn’t so charitable to Lastonia Leviston, who also has a child with Rick. Curtis obtained a tape of her having sex with.

A man named Maurice Murray and broadcasted it on his official Web site. Fifty narrated the video while dressed as his alter ego Pimpin’ Curly.

Now, the New York Daily News reports, Lastonia has filed suit against 50 in Manhattan Supreme Court for releasing the explicit footage without her consent.

The lawsuit claims 50 Cent posted the video on his Web site last year after blurring out the lover’s face.

For the film, Fif will shed 65 pounds to fit the role of a college football star who’s been diagnosed with cancer. In addition to starring in the flick, Fif also co-wrote the screenplay and will have his film company, Cheetah Vision Films produce the project.

This is isn’t the first time Jackson shed a little weight for a movie role. Back in January of 2008, it was reported that Fif cut down some of his muscles for the role in “Streets of Blood,” a movie that placed the rapper alongside film veterans Sharon Stone and Val Kilmer.
