January 26, 2009 |10:56 | Scandals  By : Team X

After being insulted by 50 Cent once again, “Love Lockdown” hitmaker Kanye West reveals that it makes him feel as if he has been “spat on.” Originally, a verbal battle broke out between the two rappers when their albums went head-to-head on the music charts in 2007.

However, it appears that 50 Cent has recently been attempting to reignite the flame after he took a shot at West on his forthcoming LP. In the LP, Before I Self Destruct, he reportedly criticizes West for singing on his hit single, “Love Lockdown.” “Just as a real human being, I can't say that it doesn't affect me,” West says, speaking.

June 25, 2008 |10:53 | News | Scandals  By : Team X

Rapper 50 Cent was ordered to surrender any guns he might have after a judge on Friday issued a temporary restraining order requested by the rapper's ex-girlfriend.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, and girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins have been locked in a legal fight over money. Tompkins has argued that she is entitled to half of 50 Cent's estate.

However, his spokeswoman insists the rap star plays a married man in his new film 'Microwave Park', and the photos come from the Louisiana set.

However, that hasn't stopped gossips from claiming the ring is a sure sign that the 'In Da Club' hitmaker and Goodies singer Ciara are man and wife.

50 has been romantically linked to Ciara after the pair posed topless for their video 'Can't Leave 'Em Alone' last year.

Kimmel also says that Tompkins also allegedly prevented his client from seeing his son by not disclosing their new address.

The ex-couple are scheduled to appear in court on July 17.

50 Cent told to keep blaze property

June 11, 2008 |11:05 | News | Scandals  By : Team X

US rapper 50 Cent cannot sell the Long Island property where a 2.4 million dollar (£1.2 million) house was destroyed by fire last month, a judge has said.

State Supreme Court Justice Carol Edmead also ordered him to put insurance proceeds in a trust account pending the outcome of his dispute with his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins.

Miss Tompkins claims the rapper promised her a house a decade ago, but had recently wanted to evict her and their 10-year-old son Marquise from the house in Dix Hills.

A suspicious fire destroyed the house on May 30. The 32-year-old rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, did not live there.

The rapper has been nominated for 13 Grammys, including one for the album Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. His UK hit singles include In Da Club and Candy Shop.

Rap star denies arson claims

June 10, 2008 |11:33 | News | Scandals  By : Team X

50 Cent has been accused of trying to kill his son and ex-girlfriend in an arson attack, but the rap star denies the claims.

Shaniqua Tompkins - mother of the rapper’s 10-year-old son Marquise - claims a Molotov cocktail started the fire which destroyed the star’s multi-million dollar mansion in Dix Hills, New York State while she, the child and four others were inside on Friday.

They were all treated in hospital for minor injuries.

She said: "He tried to kill me and his own child. I know this came from 50 Cent. I know he did it."

The blaze comes just days after the 32-year-old rapper – real name Curtis Jackson – tried to get his ex-lover evicted from the house following a heated argument.

The In Da Club star, who was filming Streets of Blood in Louisiana when the blaze broke out, denies starting the fire.

His attorney, Brett Kimmel, said: "Any suggestion that Mr Jackson had anything whatsoever to do with the fire at his home is outrageous and offensive."

Fire officials confirmed the blaze was "definitely suspicious" and have launched an investigation.
