50 Cent is speaking out against rumors that he has signed a new deal with Capitol Records. In response to statements made by Capitol big-wig Craig Davis, the G-Unit MC said, "He's a idiot, and there's no deal done." Last week, Davis proclaimed that Fiddy had just inked a deal with Capitol and that he was happy to be finished with Interscope.
"50 felt he needed to get out of the Interscope machine, and he wanted a change," Davis said during a radio interview. "So he got his release from there and we were in negotiations with him. The deal just got signed very recently. A Lloyd Banks cut will probably be first, and then 50 Cent is gonna come out later on."
Now, however, the rapper is claiming he would rather retire as an Interscope artist than continue on making records for Capitol saying, "Out of nowhere he comes out, and you can tell he's drunk or some s**t. All the success I've had has been with Interscope."
