The life of a rapper is a hustle and there must never be an opportunity missed to make money to build on an empire. For rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the promotional machine behind his VitaminWater has landed the rapper inside a truck handing out burritos to his hungry “fans” during the X games recently.

Even a man at such a caliber of 50 has no problem in getting his hands a little dirty for a common cause: A bigger paycheck. Always willing to come from the ground up, Jackson apparently has no boundary lines when it comes to exposing himself.  It's a surprise that the burrito didn't come with a copy of Before I Self Destruct.

50 Cent talks X Games, Super Bowl, boxing

This is amazing. These people, winners or losers, I don't care, had to put in a lot of work to be here, 'cause obviously it's really difficult -- coming down those mountains is fast. The Super Bowl -- who you pulling for? I'm going for the Saints. You've gotta be. Did you play sports in high school?

Oh yeah. I liked all of them -- all the ones that were available to me. Basketball, football, boxing -- those things. What can sports do for kids? It gives them something constructive to do. It's healthy. They are building themselves up. They have to focus. When they develop a passion for it and really work hard? Nothing like it, man.

50 Cent Still Optimistic About Album Sales, Open To Susan Boyle Duet

January 28, 2010 |10:09 | News  By : Team X

50 Cent Still Optimistic About Album Sales, Open To Susan Boyle Duet50 Cent was on Craig Ferguson's talk show last night, and was pretty optimistic about Before I Self Destruct, the general state of his finances, and his past beefs with other rappers.

He then goes on to first insinuate a beef with Susan Boyle, and then pronounce himself open to a collaboration with her. The reason: music buyers in her age demographic are still attuned to buying CDs, while all the kids are on the Internet getting music.

It's an interesting theory, but more compelling is the fact that 50 Cent just assumes that his and Boyle's music would automatically be a cash cow, without regard for style or quality. Let other rappers say they're about getting paid. 50 Cent's on late night television proving it

January 26, 2010 |10:20 | News  By : Team X

50 Cent to Rock the Crowds in Prague50 Cent will be hitting the stage in Prague at the start of March as part of his latest international tour.

The American rapper will be performing at the city's Tesla Arena on March 5th, at what will no doubt be a sell-out concert.

The tour follows the release of his latest album, Before I Self Destruct, which went on sale in November last year.

50 Cent's appearance in Prague is the star's only date in the Czech Republic, with his shows taking him all over Europe and into Africa.

The rapper shot to fame in 2003 with the release of his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin' and had success in the singles charts with In Da Club and P.I.M.P.

He has since collaborated with a number of other big names in hip hop, including Eminem and Dr Dre, as well as releasing two albums as part of G Unit.

50-Cent Fee Hike Possible for Wastewater Rates

January 25, 2010 |10:22 | News  By : Team X

50-Cent Fee Hike Possible for Wastewater RatesThe Sacramento region's wastewater conveyance and treatment district will consider a 50-cent rate increase in March.

The move is aimed at raising enough revenue to remain in compliance with bond requirements, according to the district.

The board of directors for the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District will discuss the issue at a March 24 public hearing.

If approved, the increase would take effect July 1 and boost rates to $20.25 from $19.75 per month for single-family homeowners.

Commercial customers and multifamily homeowners would face proportionate increases, the district stated.

The district sells bonds to finance major infrastructure improvement projects on behalf of customers. The bonds are repaid from a combination of customers' rates and impact fees from new development. With the dramatic decrease in development, the district has cut expenses by delaying or eliminating projects, paid off some debt early and turned to cash reserves. A rate increase would help close the gap, according to the district.

50 Cent Doesnt Mind Flying CoachRapper and businessman 50 Cent says that he would not mind traveling coach on an airplane, because he doesn't need to validate his financial status or status as a celebrity.

"I really don't mind flying coach if I have to," he told Interview magazine. "If the front of the plane is sold out, I'll sit in the back. Some people are like, 'Oh, first class is sold out. I can't go'. I guess they care about people seeing that they're not sitting in first class."

"I'm clear with my financial space - I don't need to get any validation by someone else who sits next to me in first class," he added. If you think a seat in first class makes you a star, then you're not one."
